This year marks my seventh year as a competitive cheerleader. I fell in love with cheerleading after competing for 4 years in high school and co-coaching a high school team for 2 years. After a 10 year "retirement," I decided to give it another try and joined DCA.

Kerri is looking forward to sharing her love for cheerleading with new athletes!

I have been cheering for five years as a senior 2, senior 3 and open level 5 athlete. Through my experience as both a junior high school and allstar competitive cheerleader, I have had the opportunity to travel and compete outside of Alberta.

Aleesha is looking forward to watching athletes grow and preparing them to take the floor to represent the DCA family!

I started cheerleading in middle school and was hooked after my first competition. I competed on junior and senior teams for six years traveling around Canada and to the states before coming to Dynasty. In that time I also coached recreational teams, and discovered an even more rewarding side of the sport. I competed with Chrome for season one and am so excited to now be apart of the coaching staff. I love to see the confidence and great experiences athletes gain being apart of this sport.

I went into competitive cheer with no experience, I started on Youth 1. Eight years later, I'm on an open level 4.2 team. Over my years of cheer I've grown into a better athlete and have made strong friendships.

Bailey is looking forward to see the club grow and sharing her love for cheerleading with the athletes.

I grew up in Torbay, Newfoundland and just became a Calgarian this past September. I joined my junior high cheerleading team 10 years ago and have been part of the cheer world ever since. In 2010, I joined all-star cheerleading where my passion grew even more. Over the years I was a cheerleader at Terra Nova Elite, which was then bought by Max Force Athletics. I have been on levels 2, 3, 4.2 and 6 but 4.2 was my favorite! We represented Newfoundland well at competitions in Halifax, NS and Mississauga, ON.I have coached level 1 and 2 in the allstar and school divisions at the youth, junior  and senior levels. I have also worked at The Little Gym of St. John’s where I learned the importance of instilling confidence in young athletes and ensuring a positive environment for their growth - both as athletes and people.

Kaila

Meet Kaila! Once a Cheerleader…Always a Cheerleader. I was first introduced to the sport of cheerleading in high school. It became my life. When I had to move to the east coast for post secondary I had to say good-bye to the sport for four years. When I moved back home I was re introduced to “All Star” Cheerleading from my highschool coach. Who would have thought that in my twenties I would pick it all back up and become a stronger athlete than I was in my teens. Long story short, I have been on a mixture of All Girl as well as Large and Small Coed Open teams for six years. I have had the privilege of attending Worlds the past two years, with my previous team making finals this year. I have had over four years of coaching experience. The most beautiful thing about this sport is that its forever changing, and not just in technique or grips, but forever changes and molds each individual athlete in their own way. “Don't Let Anyone Dull your SPARKLE”

Meet Shawna! Started cheerleading during high school and simply fell in love with it. After high school I began coaching at both junior and senior high schools. When all star cheerleading started in Edmonton I was so excited to become an athlete again and compete in competitions around Canada, the States and at the Cheerleading Worlds in 2011. With 19 years of coaching experience, I have coached all levels and ages, from mini level 1 to open level 6 and everything in between, including tumbling classes and private lessons. Currently an International Cheer Union Facilitator and get to meet coaches from all over helping them continue their growth as a coach.  Cheerleading is a sport that is constantly changing, there is always something new to learn and each season I grow as a coach and gym owner. This season I get to start a new journey, not only as a coach but as a co-owner of Dynasty Cheer Allstars. Cheerleading has forever changed my life, it has become my passion and I am excited to see the sport grow in Calgary.

Mike

Meet Michael aka Mike. Started cheerleading in high school in my home town Saskatoon. Once I moved to Calgary I found myself involved with Xtreme Cheerleading where I was an athlete on the Coed Level 6 team for three years. Growing my love for the sport each year I also became involved in Roughnecks Drill Team, which included performances at home games. In 2008 I started with Pythons Cheerleading, during my time at Pythons I was an athlete for three years, and was a competitive cheerleading coach for six years. As an athlete I attended Worlds the three years I competed, however, even though I was finished competing I was not finished with the sport. I continued to coach all skill level ranging from youth to open. For the past two years I have had the privilege of coaching Senior 2 & 3 athletes, as well as coaching several private lessons varying in age and skill level. I cannot wait to continue my journey as a coach and to start my journey as a gym owner. I am excited to see the sport of cheerleading grow in Calgary.
